Introducing The PA Forum career Growth Hub!

As we take time to review all the feedback and comments from our annual survey results for the 4th year, the PA Forum continue to evolve and grow our offering to be able to help and support our members across the West Midlands. COVID-19 has made us all take a step back to think about the here, the now and what our futures hold. We have all experienced change, some significantly more than others within our organisations and most member said they would like to consider opportunities of working in a “post COVID world”.

For 4 years, PA Forum have enjoyed a strong partnership and working relationship, hand in hand with the Katie Bard team and the Angela Mortimer Group, all have been there should you need a guidance, support or advice and we are so excited to therefore launch the PA Forum Growth Hub

You are invited to join the experts and book in a virtual 20 minute informal meeting that is confidential and complimentary with an array of experts from the Katie Bard Group based here in the West Midlands who will be on hand the last Friday of each month between the hours of 9am and 2pm and they cannot wait to hear from you.

Kam Vara and Verity Stokes, Directors at Katie Bard said “We know that periods of change can be really unsettling but also give you the opportunity to relook and reassess what you want in life and in your career. When it comes to making important decisions about those changes and how to go about them we know it helps to talk it through with someone who knows where you are coming from and where you want to get to. These sessions are designed to give more targeted advice and guidance in preparation for your next step.

We can look at everything from CV and application advice to interview techniques and how to project yourself in appraisals. We will also cover carer planning and how to make the move in terms of role or sector to fit in with your career goals. We are being asked more and more at the moment about the changing role of a PA/ EA and where a great EA can add value beyond the day job, understanding what Executives and businesses are looking for in their new hires for 2021 and beyond can be a game changer when it comes to preparing your application!  This is a great opportunity for you to get some key advice and support to mold your career for the inevitable changing market in the new year”

Daniel Skermer, Founder PA Forum said “During November we held a number of focus groups inviting a number of Personal and Executive Assistants from a wide variety of companies across the West Midlands, we have acted on their feedback along with the suggestions from the PA Forum committee to be able to provide a space that can help and support our members with their aspirations. We have enjoyed a fantastic partnership with Kam, Verity and the Katie Bard team who have dedicated their time to offer guidance to anyone looking for help and support throughout 2021, we very much look forward to our continued partnership”
